The game objective is to put the square together using the variously shaped pieces. Place them at the slot-box to cover the whole slot bottom. The pieces should not overlay. Use mouse to move and rotate pieces. QuadroX contains 100 levels. Levels difficulty increases from kid-levels to brain-blowing ones. You have access to any level at the game start. Square-Off is a puzzle game, based on the japanese "nonogram" puzzles (Sometimes called Griddlers, or paint by numbers). Your object in the game is to uncover all the black squares in the grid. To help you solve the puzzle, the number of black squares in each row and column is displayed. The game can be difficult at first, but the techniques are easy to learn. Square-Off is an enjoyable exercise for the brain.

Chomp

This nifty little freeware programme plays the game chomp against you. You have to avoid finishing a rectangular chocolate bar as you take turns to eat rectangular bites from the bottom right hand corner. There is nothing to install (or uninstall), just run the exe. There are different difficulty settings and you can set how long the computer is allowed to think for, how big the initial bar is, whether sound is played and a few more options.
